How to Make the Christmas Lights Handprint Art
What you need:
- white craft paper
- markers (black and brown)
- washable paints (red, yellow, and green)
- paintbrush
Step by Step Tutorial
To get started, lay out a sheet of white craft paper on a flat surface.
This will serve as the canvas for your kids’ creativity.
Using a marker, have your kids draw a wavy line that extends from the top to the bottom of the page.
This line will represent the cable of the Christmas lights.
Along the wavy line, assist your kids in drawing three small rectangles to create the sockets for the Christmas lights.
Have them space the sockets evenly along the line, allowing enough room for their handprints to fit inside each one.
Apply washable paint onto a paintbrush to evenly distribute the paint over your kids’ palm.
You can start with a festive red color to capture the essence of Christmas.
Now, have your little ones place their palm onto the paper inside the drawn sockets.
Allow the paint to dry between each color application to prevent smudging.
This will create vibrant lights along the cable.
