You can make them super simple, or you can make the patterns super intricate

How to Make the Cardboard Stars Christmas Ornaments
What you need:
- cardboard
- pencil
- scissors
- glue
- white liner
- black liner
- piece of yarn
Step by Step Tutorial
Grab a piece of cardboard and have the kids draw a star shape with a pencil.
You might find our how to draw a star tutorial helpful here.

If working with younger kids, it can be helpful to trace the lines with a black marker so they will find it easier to follow the lines when cutting.

Carefully cut out the star shape.

Next, you’ll need a white liner or a chalk liner.

Start drawing patterns and details on the cardboard stars.

They are starting to look good enough to eat.

Now, to turn them into ornaments. Take a piece of yarn and tie the ends together.

Attach a loop of yarn to the back of their stars.

Once the first one is done, you and your kids will be asking to make more.

We think they are the greatest!
