We have made 3 versions of this Easter craft, well 4 if you count the blank one.
You’ll find a sheep craft, a bunny craft and a lovely little chick, all of the, hiding inside a cracked Easter egg. With the blank one you can have the kids either draw the designs of their own or use it to stick a photo of themselves inside the egg.
How to make Surprise Easter Eggs Craft
What you need:
- our printable template
- coloring supplies
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the template. Both regular and cardstock paper work great. We do recommend cardstock if you plan on coloring with markers as they might wrinkle the print paper.
Color in the design. The large version is great for even the youngest kids as there are no extra small parts to color in.
We made the egg shells simple, kids can also add in their own details to really make the, their own.
Cut everything out.
Nice and easy.
Locate the 2 dashed lines on the template (the largest part).
Fold along those lines (with the design being on the inside).
Apply glue on the folded egg shape and stick on the Easter egg halves.
Your Surprise Easter Eggs Craft is complete.
