This card looks great in pink and red, however you can make it even more personal by having the kids use their favorite colors.
How to Make Fingerprint Hearts Valentine’s Day Card
What you need:
- white cardstock
- red and pink (or other) non-toxic paint or ink pads
Step-by-Step Tutorial
Start with a white cardstock and fold it in half vertically to make the card base.
You can have the kids paint their thumbs with a paintbrush or prepare paints for them to dip their fingers in.
Stamp a thumbprints from the top left part of the card.
Fill the card with fingerprints in one color, leaving enough space between them to nicely create the hearts with the second paint.
Have the kids switch to other paint. They can use the same thumb or switch to the other hand.
Make fingerprints in the opposite direction of the pink prints, forming tiny hearts when combined.
Aren’t the hearts adorable?
All done!
Give your masterpiece time to dry, then pen the card and have the kids write a sweet message using a marker or pen.
It’s the perfect finishing touch to their handmade card creation.
