If you need a fun and frugal idea for a treat box for your students or kids – make this simple Easter carrot treat box.
These are simple enough to make to be used as a treat for your classroom (we also have a handy template that will make things even easier).
Easter has certainly became a holiday kids get really excited about – the bunnies, the chicks, the dyed eggs! Oh my! And the treats, especially little chocolate eggs.
These little carrot pouches are perfect to store your kids favorite treat.
Another fun way to use these treat boxes would be to hide them around on your Easter egg hunt as an additional surprise for kids to find. Why only search for eggs when you can grab the carrots along the way too.
How to Make the Easter Carrot Treat Box
- orange and green paper
- a few additional colors of paper
- our printable template (grab it at the end of tutorial)
Follow the Tutorial
Print out our craft template. You can either print it on orange paper or print on regular paper and trace the shape on the orange one. Once you have your shape on orange paper, cut it out.
There are dashed lines on the template. You need to fold along those lines. Unfold.
Let the glue dry.
You can decorate it on your own and however you feel like it – or just leave it as it is without decorating.
