Cardboard Valentines Day Hearts Craft

Materials

  • cardboard (we were lucky to got a red box, if you’ve got a regular one you’ll also need red color)
  • Fun Chalk Markers (I was given these to try out and they are awesome)
  • scissors or craft knife
  • skewers
  • heart stencil (I used a cookie cutter)

If you’ve got regular cardboard color it red and let it dry completely.

Making Cardboard Hearts

Draw hearts on the cardboard. You can either first color them or first cut them out with a craft knife or with scissors (depending on who’s doing the project).

Either way you go about it start drawing cool doodles on the hearts with chalk markers as colors are really intense and stand out – you can go with any color really but I think the red and white combo looks awesome. You can write a love note, patterns, dots you name it.

Pierce the hearts with skewers and you have a lovely bouquet of hearts, just in time for Valentine’s day.
