How to Color the 3D Paper Heart Craft
What you need:
- our printable 3D paper hearts template
- scissors
- glue stick
- coloring supplies
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the heart templates and let the kids color them with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
To make one 3D paper heart, you’ll need 4 individual hearts, which means printing two template pages.

Carefully cut out all four heart pieces along the solid lines.

Fold each heart template in half along the dashed line in the middle. Make sure to crease it well so the fold stays nice and sharp!

Apply glue to the back side of one heart half. Then press it onto the back side of another heart half.
Keep going until all four hearts are glued together, creating a beautiful 3D effect.

Ta-da! The 3D paper heart is finished and can stand up all on its own.
How cool is that?

These adorable hearts make the perfect table decoration for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion.

They also make wonderful handmade gifts that show someone how much you care.

This is such a fun project that kids will want to make hearts in every color combination imaginable!
