It’s almost spring and the bugs have already found their way out to catch the sun. We started making wooden spoon puppets and this wooden spoon bee craft is just first of the many to come.
Once your kids have a few of these adorable puppets you’ll be a regular guest to their puppet show performances.

Wooden Spoon Bee Craft
What you need
- wooden spoons
- yellow paint
- brush
- Black Sharpie marker
- blue construction paper
- glue and scissors
How to make this bee craft
Color the wooden spoon yellow. Allow it to dry completely.

Once the paint is completely dry draw a face and stripes with s black Sharpie (or other permanent marker).
Cut two wings from blue construction paper and glue them on the back of the wooden spoon (white school glue does a great job).
This fun craft is perfect for reading time
This Little Bee book is perfect to go along with this craft (or better say vice-versa) as it follows a little bee as it flies through the jungle, meeting all kind of different animals along the way (perfect to make even more cool puppets).
