Easter is just around the corner and we are having a good time making Easter crafts.

Today we like to present to you this super cute chicken inside an egg. We simply love everything about it.

You will make this project in no time – it is not a demanding one.

How to Make Easter Hatching Chick Paper Craft

 

What you need:

  • scissors
  • ruler with circle shapes
  • pencil
  • a color paper of your choice for the egg (we used blue and green cardstock)
  • yellow color paper
  • orange color paper
  • white cardstock
  • circle puncher
  • glue
  • split pin
  • googly eyes

Let’s craft!

Step by Step Instructions

Draw an egg shape on the color cardstock with a zig-zag line in the middle that will make the egg look cracked.

Step 1
Cut out the shape using scissors.

Now you have two egg parts.

Step 2
Take the split pin and attach the pieces together on one side.

Step 3
On the white cardstock draw a few different-sized circles.

Use the ruler with circle shapes.

Step 4
Cut out the circles using scissors.

Step 5
Apply some glue on the white circles and glue them on the eggshell.

Step 6

Punch one yellow circle using the circle puncher.

Step 7
Cut two small triangles out of the yellow paper.

Step 8
Put some glue on the ends of the triangles and attach them to the yellow circle as shown in the picture.

Step 9
Cut a ‘Ш’ shape out of the yellow paper.

Step 10
Apply some glue on the bottom of this shape and attach it to the top of the yellow circle.

Step 11
Place the googly eyes on the yellow circle.

Step 12
Cut a triangle out of the orange paper.

Step 13
Glue the triangle on the yellow circle, in the middle.

Our little chicken is ready to be placed inside the egg now.

Step 14
Put some glue on the bottom of the chicken and glue it on the back of the bottom eggshell as shown in the picture.

Step 15
Close the upper eggshell.

Step 16

All done!
