There isn’t a mythical creature more magnificent than the dragon. Unicorns are amazing, fairies and mermaids too, but dragons, well dragons are on a completely different level. They can be friendly or they can be less friendly so there are many roles they can play in your child’s play.

How to Make Dragon Clothespin Puppets
What you need:
- our printable dragon craft template
- clothespin – wooden clothespin works best
- scissors
- glue
- coloring supplies
Step by Step Tutorial
Print out the dragon puppet template. We’ll show you how to make the black and white version, although the pre-colored one is included in the printable set too. There are short instructions included on every page of this craft project too.
Color in the dragons. We love using markers for this one or colored pencils, and if possible metallic markers to give these majestic beasts that extra shine.
Once your kids are happy with how their dragons look, it’s time to cut the dragons – just cut along the outline.
We’re almost done with the cutting part, the last thing you need to cut is the line along the mouths of the dragons.
Apply glue on the clothespin (just the gripping area, avoid applying glue on the inside of the clothespin to not glue it shut).
Stick the head on one of the clothespin halves…
…and the body to the other.
And that’s all!
You have just made yourself a set of dragon clothespin puppets.
