We continue our tutorials on how to draw ocean animals with a fierce looking shark.

Not so long ago we learned how to draw a dolphin together so it’s only right to look into drawing a sea dweller that’s often depicted as an enemy to the dolphin. Well as an enemy to pretty much everything.

This feisty fish sends shivers down your bones and I for one wouldn’t be to thrilled to meet one in the ocean. But that doesn’t meant these animals aren’t awesome. I mean just look at their gazzilion teeth. How cool are those.

Whatever the traits of this animal might be, it sure is fun to draw, so let’s learn to draw it together.

You can find our directed drawing printable template at the end of this drawing tutorial.

Let’s do it! Start by drawing a curved line – this line will turn into the back of your shark.

Next it’s time to draw the mouth. Start on the left end of the curve you drew in the previous step.

Draw a bit of a curve and finish it of with a upside down V shape. This completes the mouth. The hard part is now over.

Draw a fin at about the middle. No need to be super precise.

Draw a shark fin

Draw a curve from the end of the mouth to the fin. Also draw a curve from the fin to the end of the first curve.Draw all the missing fins and a tail. One fin on top, one on bottom and a wiggly tail. Also draw a circle eye.

Draw the remaining finsOnly finishing touches left.

Draw sharp triangle teeth inside mouth.

Draw three gills.

Last add a oblique line above the eye for the angry look.

You can add more details to your picture, a few fish here and there and even some waves.
